RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
So I’m stupid and don’t understand the calculations, so can somebody please tell me what the max luminance, max frame-avg, and min luminance settings would be for a 1121 nits display?

I will be adding a calculator in the next major release. 1121 cd/m² would be 144 raw for max luminance. The other fields are optional. |

A calculator sounds like a very useful feature. |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hello
i am trying to change my S95F's VRR range because it is flickering considerably However, when i go to "Extension Block -> HDMI 2.1 Support -> Variable Refresh Rate" I cannot increase the lower limit (the number turns red and i cannot click "ok"), I can only decrease it. this is on a 5070ti. I can add custom refresh rates so EDID overrides do not seem to be ignored on this GPU (Samsung's stupid one connect box has DSC activated and the ports are only 40gbps). any (other) ideas on how to decrease VRR Flicker would be much appreciated. The VRR flicker is driving me crazy on this otherwise awesome TV ![]() |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Good day everyone,
I am using a Samsung Syncmaster 955DF- on a PC running a RTX 5060 and Ryzen 7 7700. using a VGA to DP adapter No matter what I try, I cannot get native 640x480 running on this CRT. Sometimes, I can get it running but with an active signal of 1280x960, otherwise it's just a black screen- regardless of the refresh rate. I've been at this for hours and going to tear my hair out, if anyone has ideas please let me know. |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
I absolutely love this utility. It has given me hours of enjoyment with several games. However a problem has risen. I recent upgraded from a RTX3060 to a RTX4070 TI Super. I can copy and paste the monitor parameters to make the monitors to where I can get 1440p in Nvidia surround. But now when I run restart or restart64, my machine locks up. I’ve even tried older drivers to no avail. My 3 different monitors are 2k monitors. It worked beautifully with the 3060, but now with the upgrade it won’t. Any thoughts to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

What happens if you reboot instead? Does it lock up during boot? What happens if you disconnect two monitors so there's only one monitor connected, then reboot or restart, and then reconnect the two monitors afterwards? |
