Requesting help for custom resolution

Hey guys, french native speaker here, I hope I'll get this message right

I own a G61SD but this screen does flicker when VRR and 240 hz is active.

On reddit, a lot of guys said they have fixed this issue by limiting the screen refresh rate to 230, so I wanted to give it a try with your tool.

But unfortunately for me, I'm unable to do it, I do not understand how to succeed. I tried several things but the refresh rate tab keeps being in red, and I can't click on OK.

I though copying the default resolution and simply modifying it to 2230 would do the jobn but it seems that it does not



Can you guys guide me here ? What am I doing wrong ?

You need to edit the DisplayID extension block. It should have detailed resolutions with higher refresh rates in there.
