Big Question About CRU and Restart64.exe

I was using CRU to "overclock" my laptop monitor and it worked like epic

i did 60Hz to 70Hz, but i wanted to try 40Hz for lols and i was bored to restart my lap again etc so i started restart64.exe, it restarted my drivers, but after this, i cant "overclock" again like, if i try to use 1024x768 70Hz, the screen goes black, white, green, red, blue and loops, then i goes back to normal (Intel Panel with 15 seconds wait confirmation) btw no problems when i did 1024x768 70Hz, worked fine, no artifacts or random bugs in the screen edit: also when i was doing 40Hz, i used LCD Standard instead of manual (untouched/default) edit2: Monitor is BOE05FE (https://prnt.sc/ph7b4y) Specs: Cpu: Intel Core i5 5200U Gpu: Intel HD Graphics 5500U (lastest Driver 15.40.42.5063) 8 GB Ram 1TB \ Windows 7 64-bits UEFI GPT |

RE: Big Question About CRU and Restart64.exe

Laptop screens usually can't display non-native resolutions without GPU scaling. I don't know what happened the first time, but I wouldn't expect the screen to support 1024x768 directly unless it has a scaler. Try different refresh rates at 1366x768. The graphics driver should automatically add 1024x768 at the same refresh rate as a GPU scaled resolution.
