RE: FreeSync range understanding...
Most of the time you don't need to change the FreeSync range. Some monitors support a larger or higher range than documented. For example, the ASUS MG279Q is 35-90 Hz by default, but it can support 57-144 Hz, which will cover all the refresh rates from 1-144 Hz with low frame rate compensation (LFC). If the FreeSync range includes the maximum refresh rate and the max รท min is at least 2.5, then you don't need to change anything because it already includes all the refresh rates with LFC.

Changing the minimum refresh rate is simple and doesn't require any other changes. Changing the maximum refresh rate requires a matching detailed resolution. The graphics driver should report the current FreeSync range in their control panel. You can test the range visually with the G-SYNC Pendulum demo: https://us.download.nvidia.com/downloads...C_1.13.exe
