It does reset when I turn off the monitor or when it goes to power saving mode even when my computer is turned ON. So as long as the monitor resets the ToastyX brightness setting is reset also.

I also noticed that when I manually change the setting in the OSD of my monitor, it stays at that setting even when its power resets. My monitor is BenQ XL2420TX, by the way.

I'm using Gamer 2 as the my main profile, does that help?
