I had no issues with strobelight on windows 7 but in windows 10 I have issues where lightboost will disable itself when loading certain games notably Player Unknown's Battlegrounds. Lightboost re-enables when I alt tab to desktop and disables again when returning to the game. This does not happen on some other games such as Overwatch and it worked fine in every game on windows 7. Any ideas?
That means the game is running at the wrong refresh rate. If the game has a refresh rate option, make sure it's set to 120 Hz. Also, check the NVIDIA control panel under "Manage 3D settings" and make sure "Preferred refresh rate" is set to "Application-controlled" and not "Highest available" so it doesn't try to force 121 Hz. Another option is to use the setup program to get rid of 121 Hz altogether, leaving LightBoost on all the time.
