The screen is 1366 x 768 native. I want to add a 683 x 384 or any other low-res 16:9.

I tried it by clicking "add" under detailed resolutions and typing these in with "automatic (PC)" timings.

Several issues:
1. The driver might be ignoring resolutions below 25 MHz pixel clock. You can increase the pixel clock by increasing the totals.
2. Windows will not list resolutions below 640x480, but they should be available for games to use.
3. Laptop screens don't support non-native resolutions, so you will have to enable GPU scaling.
