RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)

I tried to reset the cru but it didnt work. I reinstalled windows (Completely formatted my SSD). Reinstalled the nVidia drivers ( GPU: RTX 2080TI ) Even used a software to delete them. WIndows doesnt think my monitor is HDR capable anymore either ( Windows 11 pro 64bit ) I'm literally stuck. I've tried everything online and can't find anymore related information about this. Please help!CRU does not modify anything on the hardware, so something else must have changed. Are you using DisplayPort? 3840x2160 @ 144 Hz would require DisplayPort 1.4 with Display Stream Compression (DSC), so make sure that's enabled in the monitor if there's an option. If there's an overclocking option in the monitor, check that it's set to 144 Hz. On the PC side, make sure the color format is set to RGB, and make sure the color depth is not 12 bpc. If none of that helps, try unplugging the monitor's power for a minute just in case there's a firmware glitch, and try reconnecting the DisplayPort cable to make sure it's connected securely. Beyond that, there shouldn't be any issues considering you reformatted and reinstalled Windows. |
