RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hey, I have an Acer D241H display connected via HDMI as my main monitor, which is working mostly fine. However, I recently noticed that in the Nvidia control panel's resolution settings, I can choose between two versions of 1920*1080, one under the 'Ultra HD, HD, SD' section and on under 'PC'. The PC one looks heaps better somehow, but it only has a refresh rate of 50Hz, while the other one goes up to 60Hz. I can set a custom resolution with 59Hz, but it resets to the (somewhat uglier) 60Hz one after a while.
Now, when I use your utility to disable the extension block, The 'Ultra HD' etc section disappears and a 1920*1080 @60 Hz resolution appears. But now my pc seems to think I have the display connection via DVI, so the HMDI sound doesn't work, and I use the screen's audio port to connect my speakers. Is there any way to get my audio back, other than resetting the CRU? |
