Just found this thread. Hopefully this can fix the issue I'm having with my 47" Westinghouse and HDMI connection from pc. Nvidia control panel always defaults to an "HD" resolution of 1920x1080p, but everything looks over-sharpened (is the best way i could describe it). The shadow around text in the title bar of a window looks incorrect, for example. If i go into the nvidia utility and manually change resolution from 1080P "HD" to 1920x1080 "PC" everything looks perfect! However, every time a game is loaded or the pc sleeps, the resolution goes back to 1080p HD. The same thing happened with my old gtx 610 and my new 650ti. I have been using a regular vga cable for now.
