Is it possible for the GPU or Monitor to remember its settings (vertical, backporch, etc..) after I use the reset-all and depatch + remove all displays from device manager + uninstall/reinstall driver? No. (05-20-2014 05:33 AM)purostaff Wrote: 2. When I OC the monitor, I would always get corrupted screen (even at 80hz), though I knew nothing about adjusting vertical/backporch settings at the time, though I did try LCD reduced settings). Was this just because the graphic settings in the game was set too high for this resolution to be able to sync the refresh rate? No, game settings should not cause corruption. Are you overclocking the video card? If so, does the problem still happen at stock clocks and voltage? If you're using multiple monitors, does the problem still happen with only the X-Star connected? Does the problem happen at 80 Hz with "LCD standard" timing? (05-20-2014 05:33 AM)purostaff Wrote: 3. Would running 3 monitors with 1 GPU be a problem if I want to OC X-Star in the middle? (The other 2 are 24" BenQ and Asus)Running multiple monitors with different resolutions and refresh rates can cause frame rate issues with vsync enabled, but it should be fine without vsync. |
