RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
ToastyX,
Thank you for the upload. I have a problem that I am hoping you will be able to assist me with. I'm using a Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop, with an NVIDIA 8400M GS graphics card. It has a VGA out, which I have connected to an active VGA - HDMI converter. This is connected to a Dell U2414H monitor via HDMI. The native resolution of the monitor is 1920 x 1080 @ maximum of 60Hz. Standard Windows 8.1 resolution options do not include 1920 x 1080 so I downloaded your software. I added "1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz" under standard resolutions, and restarted. The monitor is clearly displaying a 1080p resolution as intended. However: The image is shifted around 100-200 pixels to the left. Please see the attached photo. There is a distinct black bar between the end of the image displayed on the screen, and the edge of the monitor. Please help, this is very frustrating. Thank you. |
