Program lets me to use 85/100 hz refresh rate on Windows 7. testufo shows true refresh rates and everything is fine (it shows 85 or 100 hz). But when im starting any game the monitor is switching (something like turn off and then asap on) and the refresh rates drop to 60 hz.It depends on the game. Many games use the desktop refresh rate, but some will try to force 60 Hz. Some games have a refresh rate option that you can set. If not, you can try creating a resolution that only has the refresh rate you want and make the game use that resolution. Thank you for your respond. After i make setting in game "window" or "windowed mode" - seems everyhting fine. But now i have another problem After the AMD 14.9 update i cant overclock to my previous refresh rates 85/100. Tried maybe ~20 times change settings but nothing happens. First time when i installed CRU everything was fine form first or second time. Maybe you can recommend manual settings for Iiyama Pro 454 19" CRT? P.S. - and after i use patcher, cant watch videos online (youtube, etc.). Only hear sound. - Fixed now after disabling hardware acceleration that was mentioned in first post as know issues. P.P.S. (10.08) - Now seems everything fine. First i tried my HTPC with AMD APU CPU with integrated GPU - everything worked fine from first time. HTPC have WIN 8. So i decided reinstall my gaming PC from WIN 7 to WIN 8. But then nothing... After hour or two trying different options (disabling onboard GPU, enabling and etc), i found that AMD Catalyst Control Center have EDID check option (in VGA displays properties). I uncheked it and now i have all refresh rates without reboot that i made before with CRU. Sorry for distributing One more thing - WIN 7 couldnt install AMD Catalyst Control Center. Only on WIN 8 installation was without problems. CRU is so simple to set everything, but it gets complain cause of third party applications. |
