I would use the "LCD native" timing option if the TV can handle that. Keep in mind that HDMI will act like single-link DVI if HDMI support is not defined in the custom extension block, so the TV might handle that differently. HDMI also supports both RGB and YCbCr, but custom resolutions usually use RGB.
