If it works with "LCD reduced" then what's the problem? You can check if the patch is working by making small changes to the "LCD reduced" timing parameters, like setting the total to 1096 to make the pixel clock 165.06 MHz. If that works, then the patch works and your monitor can't handle the "LCD native" timing parameters with DVI.
