That is it!! thanks for the tip. didn't know how I missed that.. It's like the solution has been staring at me the whole time. On the topology page there is the field "EDID source". It was set to "monitor" all these times so every time you reboot it just loads again from the monitor and break the connection in mosaic. but now I have it changed to "file" and it keeps the customized EDID after reboot with my mosaic set up intact So I actually didn't quite have to run CRU the whole time, I just need the customized file Btw quadro does not take anything except for a plain txt file containing something like this 00 ff ff ff ff ff 00 24, etc how would I create one of those? Btw, surround and mosaic are very similar to each other. Except that mosaic seems more flexible. system topology panel to enable EDID from file will only show up if you have a quadro card installed. So without a quadro card, you don't have that panel to load a customized EDID. The GeForce driver for gtx 960 actually will support also a few of the more recent quadros and nvs. |
