RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hi there I am having a problem trying to have my dell 144hz monitor with sync to show 144hz in the program. When I turn on program the only hz it recognizes is 59 hz. The reason I have found myself to be useing this program is because a game called black desert online is forcing your monitors refresh rate to lowest settings seen in this article.
PSA: Black Desert is Changing the Refresh Rate Settings of 144 hz monitors to 60 hz, 60 hz monitors to 30 hz when played in fullscreen https://www.reddit.com/r/blackdesertonli...h=b89193d9 If someone could guide me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. I can give more info and post screenshots as well. I didn't know if having a display port instead of hdmi is the reason for this but I wanted to come here because a lot of people have been dealing with this issue using this program to play bdo. Edit : my monitor is dell S2716DG(DisplayPort) using Gtx 980 in SLI Edit 2: so my detailed resolution shows (3 slots left) 2560x1440 @ 59 Hz (241.50Mhz) before I ran program I made sure it was on 144 hz in monitor properties. There is nothing in standard resolution. Extension block says default extension block. When I edit my 59 hz and change to 144hz and restart the monitor doesn't turn on. I'll do just about anything right now to solve this issue it's really fusterating. If I need to buy a DP to hdmi I can try that see if it will work. Thank you so much I hope to hear from someone |
