What resolution and refresh rates are you trying to add? You mentioned having an Ultra HD monitor. Are you sure the monitor is overclockable? 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz is already pushing bandwidth limits. It's not even possible to add 3840x2160 @ 75 Hz with standard timing parameters using CRU because of EDID limitations. Lower resolutions like 1920x1080 @ 120 Hz might be possible if the monitor can handle it. I know some UHD TVs can do it, but UHD monitors are usually only designed to support 30/60 Hz. |
