Took me a while to figure out toggling the Display scale to turn on the Virtual Super Resolution. I have no idea what is going on with that but it works like a charm. If you had to enable Virtual Super Resolution (VSR) to get 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz, then you're not getting true 3840x2160. VSR creates virtual resolutions that are scaled down to the highest available resolution. You need HDMI 2.0 to get true 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz. The Fury X doesn't have HDMI 2.0, so you'll need an active DisplayPort to HDMI 2.0 adapter like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0194F1MY4/?tag=mtests-20#ad (03-29-2017 06:40 AM)blankslatenator Wrote: The only slight trouble I have is my audio only works up to 44100 hz. I can't go above that: either 1) The selection is not present, no matter how I configure the audio formats or the HDMI imports, or 2) I change drivers using realtek, which lets me go all the way to 192,000hz but the audio breaks consistentl, which I believe is a latency issue. If the TV supports higher sample rates, you shouldn't have to do anything. It should work out of the box, and the sample rates should already be defined in the extension block. |
