If the custom EDID enabled the setting in Windows but when testing it only plays through 2 channels, 5.1 pass through is a no go? Even though I've only been looking for a solution for a day, for what it's worth I appreciate the mountains of time you've put into this. Takes a lot of patience, I'm sure. Another edit: Just found this - https://www.rtings.com/tv/tests/inputs/5...assthrough It shows my TV (Samsung MU7000) DOES do 5.1 optical pass through. There's still hope I guess, but I really don't know where to go from here if the EDID allowing 5.1 down the cable. |
