RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hey, I'm using CRU to overclock my monitor (ideally 1920*1080 at 60hz)
My monitor's native resolution is 3840*2160 48hz. I can create a working 3840*2160 54hz profile. Even though I only created a 3840*2160 54 hz profile, I can select a working 1920*1080 54hz profile. I cannot create a 3840*2160 profile with greater than 54 hz - intel's control panel will not display those. When I try creating a 1920*1080 60hz profile, I can see it on intel's control panel, but when I try applying it, I get a black screen. I've tried creating this profile with LCD standard, native, reduced, and CRT standard. None work. I'm guessing it has to do with the front porch, sync width, back porch... etc parameters, but I'm finding it hard to understand exactly what those parameters do. Any tips? Thanks. |
