There's no reason for an EDID override to break the control panel. to follow up on my issue, it seems it does not occur when installing the full fat driver, so i guess there's something nvcleanstall removes that somehow is needed by the control panel that only becomes necessary when the EDID is overridden? lol. i didn't think of it initially, but then remembered about it and tried installing the full driver. it's so farfetched! |
