No, FreeSync won't be available if the current refresh rate is not included in the range. If you're using DisplayPort, make sure the kHz range and max MHz matches the new resolution.

I am using display port. To be clear, I set the Freesync range using the edit button top right to set 33-80 hz for the V rate Range Limit. And I set up a custom detailed resolution of 3440x1440 @ 80 hz.

Is there something else I need to change? The H rate kHz on the range limit is set to 90-90 - I have not touched this. And CRU reports Pixel clock: 430.86 MHz for an 80 Hz refresh and Horizotal: 119.680 kHz (Resolution set using Automatic - LCD Standard).

I can post screens if it helps for you to see my settings.

BTW, I have tried 76, 77, 79 as well for both custom resolution and freesync range, and get the same "freesync not supported message.

I really appreciate the assistance!
