That's possible on some models, but the manual for this model doesn't indicate this. You might have to turn on the "HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Color" option in the TV's settings to enable HDMI 2.0. Then run reset-all.exe and restart.exe to clear out the old settings. If HDMI 2.0 is enabled, CRU should show "(HDMI 2.0)" in the extension block list. Then you should be able to add 3200x1800 @ 60 Hz.

That´s exactly it ! You solve the problem... Now i saw that after upgrade the tv firmware it wipes out the old configuration and "ULTRA HD DEEP COLOR" were disable. I saw lot´s of people in the digital foundry comments with similar problems, i´ll pass this information on and point to this forum. Thanks for the help ToastyX you´re the best !

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hi Guys

I have an issue, I was using CRU to run multiple LG Ultrawide displays (1080 x 2560), one is connected via DVI and the other HDMI.
The HMDI Connected one has always worked in full res through windows display settings, but the other always tried to run 1080 x 1920 streched across the monitor.
Ive been using CRU for months to run both in 1080 x 2560, but since the windows update which I installed friday, the second monitor (DVI) has gone back to displaying in streched 1080 x 1920 and i cant seem to get CRU to over ride this?

Any Ideas

Cheers

Kieran

Hi, I'm using CRU to play in 1300p through AMD VSR, it's working great.
My issue any custom resolution above 1300p isn't listed by windows or games. Though VSR makes 1440p and 1800p available.

My card is r9 290.

CRU does not create VSR resolutions. It creates resolutions that are sent to the monitor, so the pixel clock will be limited by the connection. VSR adds GPU-scaled resolutions based on the native resolution, which is the first detailed resolution.

I don't know what you're asking. Your post has no question, and it has no information on what you're trying to do.

What video card do you have? What model are these monitors? You shouldn't have to add 2560x1080. It should already be there if the monitor supports it with DVI.

I don't know what you're asking. Your post has no question, and it has no information on what you're trying to do.

Format my System and installed a new OS, Solved.
I habe created Manually a new information with CRU, After this one I reboot my System but no Signal on my screen.
What I want 2 know is how 2 change the registry setup, over the CMD.
Without boot windows, boot via USB.

You haven't told me what you tried. Were you not able to boot into safe mode and run reset-all.exe?

Monitor 1 that runs through the HDMI has always had 2560 x 1080 available as a resolution in the windows settings, the second on that used the DVI has never had that option in the widnows settings, which is why I downloaded CRU as a fix. It has worked for months so the video card/cable definetley supports it, it is only since the most recent windows update it has stopped wroking.

My video card is a Radeon HD 6570, I have attached two screenshots as reference, showing each screen in windows settings and CRU.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Kieran
