Is there a Dolby video data block in the extension block? I don't know what else would be required.

This is the Dolby Vision (DV) Vendor Specific Video Data Block (VSVDB) in the EDID of the LG C3:

eb 01 46 d0 00 48 22 6e 84 60 6e 95

6e [hex] = 0110 1110 [bin]

00 = LLDV (YCbCr 4:2:2 12-bit … as sent from the Xbox for example)
01 = LLDV + LLDV RGB/YCbCr 4:4:4 10/12-bit
10 = DV (8-bit RGB container ... as sent from Ultra HD Blu-ray players) + LLDV
11 = DV + LLDV RGB/YCbCr 4:4:4 10/12-bit

HDR certification is only displayed as Dolby Vision in Windows 11 if the EDID contains [LLDV RGB/YCbCr 4:4:4 = TRUE] in the interface definition.
This is not the case with the LG C3.

84 60 [hex] = 1000 0100 0110 0000 [bin] = 10/12-bit disabled

Bit[0] = TRUE = 10-bit enabled
Bit[8] = TRUE = 12-bit enabled
Both bits enabled means „reserved“

This TV isn't designed for use with Dolby Vision on a PC. Whether you can force it to do so and get usable results is another story.

  • Please download the attached file above.
  • Connect only your LG C3 TV to your graphics card.
  • Run CRU.
  • The CRU window should now display "LG TV SSCR2 (active)" at the top.
  • Click Import in the lower left corner.
  • Select "TXT files" as the file type.
  • Check the box next to Import full EDID.
  • Select the file "EDID_LG_C3_DV_PC_01.txt" and click OK.
  • Close CRU by clicking OK.
  • Restart your PC.
