Is the 4K @ 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma? Many DisplayPort dummy plugs are not really DisplayPort. They often act as single-link DVI or HDMI, so you might be hitting the 300.99 MHz pixel clock limit with Intel GPUs. Resolutions that exceed the pixel clock limit will not be listed. You can reduce the Hz to reduce the pixel clock.

Toasty , if you do have an RX 9000 series gpu , could you check if the phantom resolution method can make it render interlaced on windows through hdmi? like you did with pascal gpus, make the progressive version of the interlaced resolution too and see if you can make it pop up on windows mode list.

Also would that work for RX 6000 ?

I don't. RDNA GPUs don't support interlaced at all.

I don't. RDNA GPUs don't support interlaced at all.

groovy linux distro official wiki states that rdna 1 2 and 3 support interlaced through hdmi and dp.

The Windows driver doesn't have interlaced support for RDNA.

Hey guys I just got a new computer, a Omen Max 16 ak0007nf with a 375 HX / 5080.

Since the screen has Freesync for 60 to 240 Hz, I wanted to lower the VRR change with CRU but this seems to do nothing. CRU keeps it saved as a different value but it's not recognised by the AMD software nor windows.

Are you editing the FreeSync data block in the CTA-861 extension block?

Hello,

I have a laptop on which I use CRU to export the current EDID information to a bin file. I copy this bin file to another laptop and import it into CRU there. I now expect to see an additional entry for the imported bin file in the drop-down box at the very top. However, there isn’t one. Have I misunderstood how CRU works, or has something else gone wrong? There was no error message during the import.

Import imports into the currently selected display.
