How would I fix that? I haven't installed any new antivirus program. Still on the same one when the program worked. Any ideas for fixes?
What antivirus program are you using?

Try right-clicking on the file and choose "Properties" from the menu. Then click the "Unblock" button near the bottom and click OK.

If that doesn't work, try disabling the antivirus temporarily.

Norton. Came with my mobo. There was no unblock button in any of the tabs. I'm running Winderp 7. I updated to the latest Nvidia drivers that came out today, and now the app actually started. So its fixed Big Grin Thanks though.

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Hi. Toasty!
Ive just used the 1.25 patch with a new driver, the 335.23. When using 100hz on Automatic LCD Standard and LCD reduced.
Im still getting the Freeze in games with this new driver and 1.25 patcher.

This has been happening since the last 3 driver releases.
Ive made a video below to show the problem im getting on Deus Ex Human revolution although it happens in all games when going near 100hz.

The only time i do not get this problem is if i use the 331.40 driver and 1.24 patcher.

Ive been doing the same thing regarding driver installation and patching for well over 1 year and ive only been having problems lately since 1.25 patcher and last 3 Nvidia drivers.

Video.

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Hey, thankyou for giving us the chance to OC our monitors first of all..

I'm getting BSODs with the message "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". Prior to buying this QNIX QX2710 and using the drivers on this website I didn't get BSODs. I also imported the "blank-extension.dat" file. I'm now missing the NVIDIA option in my right-click context menu and when I try to run the NVIDIA center it crashes.

Here's the data from BlueScreenViewer: http://puu.sh/7BHGN.png

Specs:
SeaSonic X-650
ASUS P8Z77-V LE Plus
i5-3570k
Gigabyte GTX 760 OC 2GB Rev 2.0 (NVIDIA v335.23)
2x 8GB Crucial 1600Mhz 9-9-9-24
Samsung 840 Pro
Kingston v300
WD Caviar Blue
QNIX QX2710 @ 1440p (110Hz)
ASUS PB238Q @ 1080p (60Hz)

I've also been getting IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL occasionally when using the patched drivers.

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
I just got another one, it claims to be an Audio issue but it's related somehow to this OC. I've been using this exact rig minus the new driver/monitor for several months without issues.

This is the second time in a few minutes I'm trying to post this, while replying to this thread the first time I got another BSOD..

The new error I'm getting is this: http://puu.sh/7C7pz.png

I managed to get a pic of the first BSOD for this reply using my phone in time before the PC reboot. Now it's saying "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL".

And now I got a third BSOD while trying to reply... something like "SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION".

And now a fourth BSOD, luckily Chrome is saving the reply I'm working on each time so I only have to type a little bit more that it didn't catch.

Here was the first BSOD from this reply anyway.. http://puu.sh/7C84t.png

I better stop before I get another BSOD.. I'm surprised nobody mentioned how unstable this is.

Despite running World of Tanks flawlessly at 60-70FPS maxed out on that 1440p monitor @ 115Hz for a very long time.. it may be that it's just an unstable clock rate. I just find it odd that replying on a forum is causing it but not playing such a resource intensive game.

I will try removing that custom driver, as I've read somewhere it's not necessary if I'm not running SLI. The site I bought the monitor from didn't specify that, they said to install it to OC.

Bumped down to 105Hz, still BSODs.. When starting a netflix video it will do it occasionally. Now running 96Hz.

I don't see how the patch could cause that. Nobody else has reported anything like that before.

I need you to check one thing at a time:

1. Run reset-all.exe and reboot to remove all the custom resolutions. Does the problem happen at 60 Hz with the patch without any custom resolutions defined?

2. Does the problem happen at 80 Hz without the patch?

3. Does the problem only happen with 335.23 or does it also happen with older drivers?

Try 80 Hz without the patch. If the problem still happens, then you're encountering a driver issue that's not related to the patch or any pixel clock limits.
