It doesn't remove all possible limits. Fermi cards are really old. Some cards can't handle more than 230 MHz with HDMI.

I have litle bit difer information wich i study...
Hdmi 1.3-1.4 limited about 340 Mhz http://monitorinsider.com/cable_bandwidth.html
Also indirectly... 1.4 supported Bluray 3d format ( Framepacked 3d)
This format generated two FULL HD frames (Equal 1920x2205@48 total)
Itis simple to check. I can set different resolutions with pixel clock up to 343Mhz
BUT! When i set 3840x2160@24 for example. It match 266Mhz with CVT or EVEN 209!!! in CVT-reduce blanking. (it actualy less then you said) -screen is just black.
So ... I conclude. In some place there is a restriction. I assume that in the driver. I actually thought that PixClPach just lifts these driver restrictions. I am wrong?

Older cards didn't support 340 MHz. The patch is mainly for 165 MHz single-link and 330 MHz dual-link limits.

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Could you please not ignore the examples and facts that I have described and respond in more detail step by step. Caus I really stopped understanding what the program does. And I did not find detailed descriptions of each patch (or FAQ). Even if you read "patch removes the limitation of 165", then it already doesn’t work ... 209MHZ is not so much more.
Even here https://www.monitortests.com/blog/common...ck-limits/ it is described that 1.3-1.4 - 340 MHz (we have already found out that it is required for full 3D, what doubts can there be?)

There is nothing I can do about this. A newer card would not have this problem.

about what? you Cannot describe detaily all options of your own application? Really?

Thank god...i dont belive people on word, with a smart look they affirm what they don’t know about. Of course without proof and other. Why?
Sorry actualy I supposed you are software\hardware engeneer - not VideoCard's seller...

By the way... i set 4k resolution. But with not normal frame rate like.... 23, 26, 27, 40... with 24, 30 its show black screen. It DEFINETLY lock in driver or some else Nvidia limitation. As i understand you have no idea and will continue to say BUY new card...so then this message for people who realy need information.
This resolution can be set even without patch. (Thats actualy why i asked detailed description.)
