I just tested and it doesn't work.Does CRU show a detailed resolution for 30 Hz somewhere either in the main window or in an extension block? Yes, i see a 3840x2160 30 hz resolution in the extension blocks. And i can effectively use 30 hz at 4K. The issue is really with the VSR resolution. I am even thinking switching my DisplayPort cable with an hdmi 1.4 one so that it will only use 30 hz at 4K and above. What do you think about that? |

RE: Scaled Resolution Editor (SRE)
I have set the resolution of Elgato HD Pro 60 to be 2560x1440 with CRU. Once I did that I was able to select that resolution in the Windows display control panel. I'm just not sure about something. On nVidia cards you can do that in their control panel. But with AMD (which is what I have) it sends you to the Windows display control panel to change resolutions etc.
Now I tested streaming last night and when I viewed it back there is still some crunching and pixelation. Its very noticeable especially on grass. So I'm guessing that my GPU isn't downscaling it? Which is what brings me here. Do I use the HDMI scaling option in Adrenaline? Or this app? And is the HDMI scaling option going to be using my GPU? I want to output the game capture at 1080p. On my main monitor I'm at 1440p with DP. I have my GPU connected into the capture card and then another HDMI cable going from the HDMI out on there via a HDMI to USB C adaptor back into my PC. I just have to work out the scaling. So what percentage less is 1920x1080 than 2560x1440? |
