Request for Help Creating a Working Custom EDID (1440p / 144 Hz / HDMI 2.1 / FreeSync
I’m having an issue with my Gigabyte FO27Q3 (1440p). For some reason, the monitor doesn’t offer a 144 Hz option. I need 144 Hz available so I can generate an EDID.bin file to inject into my fuser.
I tried using CRU to create a custom EDID, but the fuser won’t accept it — the screen just goes blank. I need help creating a custom EDID that the fuser will actually work with. I do have an EDID from another 1440p monitor that works, but the problem is that the other monitor is G‑Sync, so FreeSync doesn’t work when using that EDID. If anyone can help me build a proper custom EDID for the fuser, I’d really appreciate it. It needs to support: - HDMI 2.1 - 1440p - 144 Hz - FreeSync I can share my current EDID files if needed. |

Can you show which EDID works and which EDID doesn't work?
