need help 4k 240hz xg32ucwmg
Want it to run on 240hz as it should but it will only stay at 120 refresh rate even if i use CRU.
Any monitor overclockers here have solution? Looking for MCM101 firmware to factory hardware reset it back to normal. 4k 240hz used to work back when it's on old factory setting. |

Which graphics card are you using?
CRU shouldn't be necessary to run the monitor at 4K @ 240 Hz. Revert any changes you made using CRU by running "reset-all.exe". I would not recommend downgrading the monitor's firmware. The current firmware is MCM105. Furthermore, it is highly unlikely that the inability to run at 4K @ 240 Hz is caused by the monitor's firmware. Please check the settings in the monitor's On-Screen Display (OSD) and consult the manual to select the settings that enable 4K @ 240 Hz. The DisplayPort EDID data I have indicates that the monitor expects 4K @ 240 Hz according to VESA's CVT-RB standard (2332 MHz pixel clock). Any modern graphics card featuring DisplayPort 1.4a with DSC should be able to handle this monitor. |

It used to run 4k 240hz when it was on MCM101 factory firmware but problems popping up like flickering, then they blackscreen thinking it was a powercycle issue. Which i have to wait for 5mins to boot the monitor back up to normal. All that I have to looked for solution which I looked it up everyone saying is to update the firmware. Now it has not able to perform as it used and it shows my FPS being limit by the monitor's refresh rate to 120hz. Firmware is still on the latest version. My GPU is on the latest modern graphics which is the 9070XT. Maybe the GPU might be the current issue cause 7900XTX has right capabilities to run a 4k monitor with such framerate because of the higher VRAM it has. And in my region, RMA are hard to trust, would take 3months or be ignored to oblivion because of reseller being piled on RMAs and not sending back to distributor properly |

Please connect the monitor directly to the graphics card via DisplayPort and run edid-test.exe on your computer: https://www.monitortests.com/edid-test.zip This will create a file named "edid-test.TXT" in the same folder. Please attach this TXT file here. |
