Hi! I've used your tool to change my monitors (LG-29um68p) timimings to the lcd standard which fixed my issue with my rx 580 boosting to it's max memory clock when watching videos in fullscreen. The only issue is that I have to use the restart.exe everytime after a pc reboot to make the settings stick. I've tried to reinstalling the gpu drivers but it didn't help. Any suggestions?

I got an issue using this excelent program. I am using acer xr341ck monitor with 3440x1440 resolution. Problem is that i cannot set 2560x1440 resolution in Starcraft 2. BUT if I set this resolution in CRU for 60 and 75hz, the option to set 2560x1440 magicaly appears and even works without problems. BUT if I do so, freesync appears in drivers as "Not supported" and obviously is not working. Is there any fix for this? Graphics vega 64

Standard resolutions can only be certain aspect ratios, so you have to use detailed resolutions. CRU does not deal with scaling. Use GPU scaling in the GPU's control panel to control scaling. If you don't have that option, then there's nothing you can do.

That has to be a driver bug. I don't see why that would happen.

Try enabling GPU scaling.

I tried a clean driver install but now I have a new problem ontop of the other issue. No matter which timings I chose for the monitor, the gpu will always max the memory clock when watching videos in fulllscreen. Could it be the driver at fault as I used an older driver now?

Hi again. I’ve tried now with an clean install of windows with the latest recommended drivers from ams now the timings work as they did before but they still won’t stick until I use the restart.exe. Is this a solvable issue? I mean it’s only a minor inconvenience but still an inconvenience I’d rather not have to do. Thank you.

help! i just apply a wrong resolution to surface pro 4, and monitor shows nothing since reboot. safe mode works but which config files should I restore/delete exactly? thx alot

Run reset-all.exe.
