To use GPU scaling, you'd have to add 75 Hz at the native resolution if the monitor can handle that. Otherwise, you'll have to disable GPU scaling and use the monitor's scaling options. And make sure you disabled GPU scaling before setting the lower resolution. You'll know if GPU scaling is disabled if you go into the monitor OSD's "information/system" area and it shows 1024x768. There's literally almost a 0% chance that WIDE/ORIGINAL would be greyed out if the monitor (not computer/video card) system OSD area says you're at 1024x768. That's impossible. (I remember even my old Samsung T220 had that option available). If the information/system area says you're at 1920x1080, it means GPU scaling is *still* enabled. Make sure you created the resolution and restarted the driver and switched to it. |
