RE: Gsync (or Freesync) over HDMI on Nvidia Cards with CRU
Hi ToastyX

There have been an Nvidia Driver Update 440.97 both Standard & DCH who presumly enables Gsync Compatible through the LG C9 TV with HDMI 2.1 but the same Nvidia people told that one can enable Gsync Compatible even under HDMI 2.0b with proper nVidia Driver (dunno if they refer to 440.97 or still have not release a proper one...but seems in other forums, 440.97 is for LG C9 VRR over HDMI 2.1 and only for Turing Nvidia Cards)

I own a Samsung NU8000 which is a Freesync TV as you may know, and installed the latest Nvidia Drivers i mentioned it, and still after enabling my TV Freesync option, i do not get Variable Refresh Rate, nor Windows 10 enable GSYNC option under Nvidia Control Panel.

What do you know about this? and,you think nVidia would never support Gsync over HDMI 2.0a or HDMI 2.0b?

My Video Card is a GTX 1080 Ti.

Thanks in advance for your Reply!

Regards,

Aristides S.
