Changed the timings to cvt reduced blanking
then changed the polarity of the horizontal from either + to - or - to +
What happens when you do that? 1920x1200 monitors usually can't handle higher refresh rates, but if you got it working before, then I would expect CVT reduced blank to work. You shouldn't even need to change the polarity.
the text is all messed up and its blurry

ive had a thought though im using a different cable now and that may be the issue so il try again after i swap them out.

edit

yes was 100% the bad cable. Instantly worked after i swapped them out.

p.s

the monitor supports 75 hz on almost all resolutions apart from the native 1900x1200
And it seems absolutely perfect using
Code:
manual timings:
Active        1920 1200
Front porch   48     3
Sync width    32     6
total        2080  1243
polarity      +      -
Refresh rate  75.00

Why!?
Could it be cause i resetted non x64 ?
And what difference between them?
Games shouldn't crash unless there's a hardware problem or driver bug. Restart.exe automatically calls Restart64.exe on a 64-bit system, so that doesn't matter.

So why games crashing?((
Some games
Idk why and how

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
I'm not a screen resolutions expert…

I have a problem with:
Monitor Name: AU Optronics [Unknown Model: AUO329D]
Monitor Name (Manuf): AUO B173HAN03.2
Default refresh: 144Hz

Can't play Dark Souls II - Scholar of the First Sin in fullscreen because this monitor doesn't support 60Hz resolutions (this game unfortunately requires a 60Hz screen mode to run in fullscreen).
If I try to create a standard one with CRU I see an ugly dotted screen (!)… This display panel seems to support only 120Hz+ correctly.
Any idea/suggestion how to get rid of that strange "dotted screen mode" when using <120Hz resolutions? What's that? It seems impossible to me there are panels at 120Hz+ not supporting 60Hz...
(I can record a video if you need…)

Is this a laptop screen? Try increasing the vertical total without changing the pixel clock to get 60 Hz. If you take a 120 Hz resolution and lock the pixel clock, you can get 60 Hz by doubling the vertical total.

Example:

WOW! Exactly the kind of help I needed! It worked! Smile
Thank you so much! I can finally set up 60Hz as a fallback compatibility mode for some nasty coded old games/emulators!

Another question… Some new 120, 144Hz screens have inverse ghosting issues:

I wonder if CRU could help…?

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Dell UP3218K, 8k monitor.
Desktop running in MST 7680*4320 (2x 3840*4320?) 60Hz.

I can only see a 3840x2160 mode in CRU Detailed resolutions (3 slots left). Any clue why I don't see more resolutions listed like the 8k? Is it because of MST?

I was hoping to add a 75hz+ 4k mode for gaming. 60Hz @4k is running fine when selected from within fullscreen games.

This panel, it's pretty spectacular and fast electronics. Could it in reality be alot faster on 4K refreshrate than 75Hz given it can do 8k 60Hz under MST with no hiccups?

Is there a way to trial/force VESA Adaptive Sync even though the screen according to AMD control panel is not detected Freesync? Are not all screens better than DP 1.2+ capable of VESA Adaptive Sync in some form. This one is DP1.4 on bot MST ports.

I run it on a Vega 64 8GB but will upgrade in a few weeks to Radeon VII 16GB.

That's because those resolutions are in the extension blocks. CRU asks the driver for the full EDID, but if the driver can't provide it for some reason, then CRU can't read the extension blocks. If you made any changes, run reset-all.exe and reboot. Then run the attached file once and upload the log file here.

I doubt that monitor will handle 75 Hz correctly, and there's no way to force FreeSync with DisplayPort.

That's caused by badly-tuned response time compensation (overdrive) in the hardware. There's no way around that with software.

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hello I am having an issue with CRU and my monitor and would appreciate any help. A while ago I got a new monitor, Acer XG270HU, I noticed that I couldn't set it higher than 60hz on 2560x1440, and 75 on lower resolutions, even though the monitor advertised 144hz. After doing some research I realized that it was because my AMD Radeon R9 200 series Graphics Card does not support 144hz, so after finding CRU, I changed the setting and was able to get it to run 2560x1440 at 144hz, and everything was great. But just recently the monitor went back to 60hz and did not show the option to go into 144hz. I tried to use CRU again and followed different guides, and even just changed the refresh rate, yet none of it worked. After the changes to the detailed resolution (such as just setting it to 144hz) and doing restarts, it would not display the option to go to 144hz. And I couldn't even get 2560x1440 60hz to display anymore, it only showed 1920x1080 60hz. I tried setting it lower like 120hz, this worked but only on 1920x1080 and lower, anything higher wouldn't display.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this and I apologize if it isn't.
