There is workaround if you add standard resolution to my Acer 27" 1440p of 1080p/60hz then surround will see all 3 screens as 3x 1080p so i can setup properly triple screen with 5760x1080 instead of 3072x768 which is default now.

So for some reason since Acer XB271HU has no standard resolution listed at all Surround defaults to 1024x768 as only resolution i can select

Here is the video with the problme that most people have and this guy fixed it with your Utility
I have the same exact problem as him!

I don't know why he added a standard resolution. You should add a detailed resolution with the same timing parameters as the other monitors. Either way, the control panel shouldn't break. That would be a driver bug.

Ill try to add Detailed resolution, but probably its driver bug, will have to wait for new drivers from NVIDIA.

Thanks for all the inputs.
Cheers!

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hi guys wondering if you can help me out! I was on 1909 build running CRU and it worked fine when I set these custom resolutions for my native and game resolutions:

LCD Reduced
- 2560x1440 @ 165hz
- 1024x768 @ 165hz

Nvidia driver 442.72

and adding them the same in extension block, deleting all but my native highest (164.999hz) resolution.

Now I am on 2016 LTSB Enterprise with new nvidia driver 451.48 (tried reinstalling and using my old driver) and it seems I always get OUT OF RANGE?

I have messed with this a bit, and what I got working was running it like this:

- Delete all but native 164.999hz in extension block, copy this (Timing: Manual) and all the parameter values for the top detailed resolutions window.

This is all I could get to work, but trying to add 1024x768 at 164.999hz and 165hz says out of range when I load a game with that resolution.

Nvidia GTX 980
Asus PG279Q (Display port)

You shouldn't need to add 1024x768 @ 165 Hz. It should automatically exist as a scaled resolution. Maybe you had GPU scaling enabled before.

Followed some vids about forcing the res you play on through this because it makes input feel responsive and proper display scaling. Btw, I back this because my game actually felt better when using this program and displaying the resolution. I had Display scaling in Nvidia Cpanel with override checked. Although don't trust Nvidia panel its a load of crap Big Grin

You need to be able to get into safe mode to fix it. Try disabling SupportAssist: https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/uk/...lang=en-us

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
I have a LG C9 OLED and trying to get 1920x1440 @ 60Hz to work for a MiSTer FPGA device connected via HDMI. I have been trying to figure out the timings using my PC with a Nvidia RTX 2080 Super with no luck. My question is if CRU is not showing this resolution in the displays EDID info, then am I just completely out of luck? Is it possible to edit the displays EDID info to add this resolution?

If you have a Windows install drive, you can try option 3: https://www.digitalcitizen.life/4-ways-b...windows-10

Otherwise, you'll need to create a recovery drive on another computer and do option 4.

I really hate how Microsoft made it hard to get into safe mode with Windows 10. It used to be simple with Windows 7.
