Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)

Hello, I'm on iMac 5k Radeon R9 M395 on bootcamp and couldn't make CRU to work.
clicking restart64.exe will reboot the system and detailed resolution I added is gone as if untouched. after restart.exe new framerate doesn't been added.
Although the monitor's native resolution is 5k (5120 x 2880), it is written that its Active Signal Resolution is 2560 x 2880, so is the resolution written on the CRU. and typing 5120 x 2880 would make it the text red.

Also I'm using radeon driver version 18.40.20
I want to overclock the framerate slightly since I saw someone overclock their MBP to 119hz.
what should i do and which resolution should i type on the CRU?

You should see two active monitors in the monitor list. You have to add 2560x2880 to both. I'm not sure if that display can handle higher refresh rates though. That resolution already pushes the limits of DisplayPort, so there might not be much room for higher refresh rates.

I have three monitors connected to a gpu (2DP, 1 HDMI), If I extend the freesync range of one monitor, the scrolling for the HDMI monitor stutters. Is there anything that I can do about this? All of my monitors are at 75hz.

Make sure the timing parameters and FreeSync range match on all three monitors.

Hi.

I set my monitor 60Hz at 75Hz, it supports the frequency but the color depth dropped from 8 to 6.

Is there a way to solve?

This happens with DisplayPort when you exceed the pixel clock limit for 8 bpc.

Excuse my ignorance, but where do I find info on monitor timings? I will test in a couple of days thanks again.

and if you use HDMI, will you give them 8?

HDMI doesn't do 6 bpc, so if you exceed the pixel clock limit, the refresh rate won't be available.

The timing parameters aren't important. They just need to match for the GPU to be able to synchronze all the monitors. The timing parameters mainly control how long to wait between each line and frame, which was originally for CRT monitors.
