I meant in the extension block list, not the type. The .bin files are valid, but NVIDIA's driver has a bug that causes it to ignore overrides that don't have at least 2 bytes left for data blocks. You can delete the HDMI data block because it's not needed with DisplayPort, and you don't really need the TV resolutions either.

thanks it worked i deleted the hdr static metadata
and its fine now

I actually tried doing that with my vega 64 but it still showed hdr

that fixed a long running problem of dx12 games auto turning on hdr
when i dont want it as it looks worse than my settings

I have MSI RX5700 Gaming X and MSI Optix G241.

I want to set custom resolution because when I have 144Hz my GPU Vram working hard on +1700MHz. I tried set this in drivers but I can't save customs settings. When I try set profile with 143 or 142Mhz my display turns off for 20 seconds, after this time appears "HDMI no signal", display turns on and still working on 144Mhz. I tried make a new profile in CRU. Custom profile from CRU also didn't work. I can set a new profile but vram still working on max value. What I should do? Do you think display port cable can resolve a problem?

You need to keep the pixel clock under 340 MHz for HDMI 1.4. DisplayPort will allow up to 360 MHz.

Hi,

Need some help to configure CRU.
My setup: a laptop (CPU is i5-1035G4) running Win10 -> HDMI to DisplayPort adapter -> Apple LED Cinema 27 Monitor (A1316). The computer detects the monitor, but could not make it active, monitor remains black screen.
To verify that the monitor is okay: with the same setup, except booting into Linux. the nonitor works just fine.
To verify that the "HDMI to Display Adapter" works in Win 10, I swapped out only Apple LED Cinema 27 monitor with Dell 27 monitor, everything works fine too.
What shall I change in CRU to make original setup working?

I found problem. When I connect main monitor (MSI G241) via DisplayPort and set 142Hz GPU work correctly but when I connect second monitor (LG E2251) via HDMI or adapter DP>HDMI vram again jumps to +1700MHz. Have you guys an idea what to do after connecting the second monitor so that the value does not increase?

Both monitors must run at the same resolution and refresh rate with the same exact timing parameters to synchronize the monitors. The memory clock changes during the blanking period to avoid screen corruption. If the two monitors aren't synchronized, it can't change the memory clock without corrupting one of the screens.

You need an HDMI data block in a CEA-861 extension block to go beyond 165 MHz pixel clock with HDMI.

There's no way you're going to get 2560x1440 @ 100 Hz over HDMI with the HD 5450. It doesn't have HDMI 2.0. What settings do you want to import? You can export the settings to a file and import the file.

Thanks for information. I gave up with CRU but I discovered that when I connect only main monitor via DP Vram value are fine in Wattman (without any custom refresh rate) and when I connect him via HDMI Vram jump to high values. What can be reason this thing?
