RE: AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher
"Getting started:
Run atikmdag-patcher.exe. (If you only need the BIOS signature patch, rename it to atikmdag-patcher-bios.exe first.)" Hi, so I' not sure how I should be using this tool for my card. I bought a 2nd hand mining rx 570(like one of those legit made for mining 570s that only had the dvi output even. looks cool tbh) for a backup computer, and it has a modded bios that works fine in linux but when I try to use windows it well doesnt work with the drivers installed. I've been told I need to use the pixel clock patcher to get it to work. But I dont know if I need everything or just the bios signature patch. Like described in the part 1 of getting started. EDIT: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a...-_-Product that one thats the one I bought second hand. never used though still in its packaging when i got it. Just dunno what i should be doing to mess around with it in windows. Im guessing there is no gaming bios for it but meh if I can get it running with the latest driver (maybe overclock it some but i doubt that) it'll be a good backup rig. being a bit better than the 390 that died and its replacing. |
