DellP2314T and resolution 1280x768 or 1280x800. Please help.

Thank you a lot for for checking and help.
I have tested the conetion via dell3100 and then hardaware conversion from HDMI to VGA and it was working. Resolution 1280x768 was there.
Then you pointhed me out, that the problem could be on docking USB station Dell3100.

This article help me:

and resolution for second monitor was added. See enclosed screen shoots files. So updating registry for Dell3100 helps.
I will test more monitors DELLp2314t this week. Conetdion via DisplayConnector and Conversion from Display to HDMI as well. I will give you here feedback.

Resolution choices are determined by your graphics controller driver (Intel, AMD, NVidia), not by the monitor manufacturer. You need to direct this question to the gfx driver folks at AMD or HP.
