Nothing else other than click OK and reboot. Are the refresh rates not getting listed in the Windows screen resolution advanced settings?

RE: AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher
I can choose the refresh rates, but my monitor shows frequency not supportet if the pixelclock is above 165Mhz. But i know, that its possible, because i´ve got 75Hz stable with my gefoce gtx570

Then the problem is not the patch. What monitor are you using? What settings did you try? Some monitors will only do higher refresh rates with certain timing parameters.

That's not greater than 165 MHz. What settings did you try that was greater than 165 MHz? What settings did you use with NVIDIA? Have you tried adding a detailed resolution and just changing the refresh rate without using any of the automatic timing options?

Yes, these are the settings, that currently working. This are greater than 165MHZ and doesn´t work

I don´t used CRU with the Nvidia, because it was possible to set the 75Hz from the Nvidia Driver.

I also tried just to change the refresh rate, with no positiv result.

If that works at 75 Hz, then what's the problem?

That doesn't mean there's a 165 MHz limit. The monitor might not support "LCD standard" timing at 75 Hz. That's why I'm asking what settings you used with NVIDIA. The same settings should work with AMD.

Yes, but NVIDIA's driver has the same settings when adding a custom resolution.

75Hz doesn´t work, thats the problem Smile I also have problems with some flash videos with safari. just a black screen and sound.

You're not being clear about what's happening. First you said the patch didn't work, but then you said you can choose the refresh rates. You said the monitor shows "frequency not supported" if the pixel clock is above 165 MHz, but then you showed me settings that were below 165 MHz at 75 Hz. You said these are the settings that are currently working, but now you're saying 75 Hz doesn't work.

As far as I can see, the patch is working and your monitor doesn't support 75 Hz with the timing parameters you're trying to use, but you said 75 Hz worked with NVIDIA, which is why I wanted to know what settings you used with NVIDIA.

If you used "Automatic" timing with NVIDIA and never changed anything, then the settings should be the same as clicking the "Add..." button and just changing the refresh rate:

H: 1920 88 44 148 280 2200 +
V: 1080 4 5 36 45 1125 +

If that doesn't work, then the only thing I can think of is maybe the monitor supports different refresh rates with YCbCr color instead of RGB, but that option wouldn't be available with a DVI-HDMI connection.

You need to disable hardware acceleration in the Flash Player settings. You might not even need the patch if you're using one of the .dat files with HDMI.

RE: AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher
Ok , sorry for my bad description.

I just thought the patch would be the problem, thats why i asked for it in the first post.

I uploaded 2 screens ...

Screen 1 : 75Hz, LCD reduced, pixelclock under 165MHZ ==> Working
Screen 2 : 75Hz, LCD normal, pixelcklock above 165MHZ ==> not working ( can chosse the resolution in Windows, but Monitor says "frequency not supportet"

With the NVIDIA i just added 1920x1080 @ 75Hz in the Nvidia Control Panel, i don´t used CRU or anything else. This worked fine.

I tried to disable the patch, but then i can´t choose the new refresh rates in Windows, so the patch seems to work. If the patch is disabled, the flash videos are working again. Disable the Hardware Accerlation doens´t work.
Using the HDMI.dat and disable the patch also doens´t work. Then i still can´t choose the refresh rates set in CRU in the advanced WIndows resolutions.

I also tried your settings from the last post ... still the message "frequency not supportet" and this message appears every time i cross the "magic" 165MHZ pixelclock, no matter what settings.

I hope this is easier to understand Smile
