Even though it says 330 MHz pixel clock, supposedly it can handle around 400 MHz pixel clock. You might not be able to get 110 Hz, but 100 Hz should be possible. Those adapters use DisplayPort, so the patch shouldn't be needed. You might run into problems adding custom resolutions if the laptop has switchable graphics. You'd have to add the custom resolution using Intel's control panel and not NVIDIA's, and I don't know what restrictions Intel has. |
