I've tried overclocking the monitor for lulz, but I found I've got a hard lock on 365 MHz pixel clock (automatic PC timings), which pixel clock patcher doesn't lift, screen works perfectly with 151.142 Hz refresh rate, which equals to 364.99 MHz pixel clock. Firmware side lock or something else?
The patcher does not affect DisplayPort limits, and it's for bypassing driver limits, like if the driver won't allow the resolution to be listed at all. If you can set the resolution but the monitor won't display it, then it's a monitor limit.

I see. Well, it seemed a tad weird that it's a pixel clock limit of exact 365 MHz. Any idea how it might be possible to bypass it or lost cause?

I wouldn't expect a monitor like that to accept much higher refresh rates.

I would, as that precise limit simply seems too artificial, there's no image degradation along the way or anything, just a straight cut-off after switching from 364.99 to 365 MHz. Is it possible that Samsung equipped the monitor with a 2-lane/DP 1.1 cable? According to https://www.monitortests.com/blog/common...ck-limits/ it might check out (yes, I am aware the cable issue is just implausible looking at when the cut-off kicks off).

Most monitors limit what they will accept, but the limit is usually by Hz or kHz, not pixel clock. I'm sure the hardware can handle higher refresh rates, but the monitor won't allow it. More likely the cutoff is around 151 Hz or 175.5 kHz and the pixel clock is just a coincidence. If it is actually a pixel clock limit in the monitor, then you can use the "Exact" timing option to get 155 Hz under 365 MHz, or up to 165 Hz with "Exact reduced" if the monitor can handle that.

There's no such thing as a 2-lane cable, and the monitor is probably using 4-lane HBR, which is limited to 360 MHz at 8 bpc, not 365 MHz. If you exceed that, it will simply drop down to 6 bpc, which allows up to 480 MHz.

Hello whenever I patch 19.9.2 drivers, I still get Code 43. Any advice?

Is this a Polaris GPU with a modded BIOS?

Hello i have a rx 470D that i modded to a 470 at the time i followed these steps https://www.techpowerup.com/228536/amd-b...3#comments but after awhile the drivers update then if i run the patch again the colors on my screen gets messed up, will this fix the problems i'm having and if not do you have any tips or advice for me.

What do you mean by the colors get messed up? Try renaming the file to atikmdag-patcher-bios.exe to only patch the BIOS signature check and not any of the pixel clock stuff if you don't need that.
