Hi ho.

Since i am using Windows 10 the strobelight tool doesn not show me 120hz in the browser ufo test (firefox). Windows 8.1 showed it correct.

I am using AMD 7950 with CCC 15.7 WHQL (15.2 was the same problem) on my BenQ 2720T.

Is this a browser problem, or does the tool not use 120hz anymore?

The CCC says i am using 120hz and the green light is on (3D mode).

And i think that i can see moving text on the windows desktop a little bit better than with 60hz activated.

Any ideas or info?

EDIT:
I have a positive info for you: after 2 years using this tool, under Windows 10 the tool switch strobelight on/off works the first time correct. Yeah :-))

That would be a browser problem. Try it with Chrome.

If Windows and CCC report 120 Hz and 3D mode is active on the monitor, then it's working.
Since upgrading Catalyst to 15.7 Strobelight doesn't seem to work. It'll show a check mark next to "Strobing on" but I can't change the brightness. Also the tests are blurry.
Anyone else have this issue? I haven't seen anyone else complaining.
My monitor is an Asus VG248 and I'm running Windows 7 64 bit.

Try removing, using display driver uninstaller (DDU), run reset-all.exe In the ToastyX Custom resolution utility program package, then reinstall the driver, then re-do strobelight setup.

Make sure Virtual super sampling is disabled.

It sounds like you need to reinstall the refresh rates. That can happen sometimes after a driver update.

There's no need to run reset-all.exe after using DDU. DDU already removes all the monitors, so there would be nothing to reset.

VSR wouldn't affect Strobelight. They can be used together.

Thanks! I just had to run strobelight-setup.exe and reboot my computer. I love being able to read the street map at 120hz.

Now try the real man test.
Pixperan readability test at tempo 30!

(pixperan doesn't seem to work in windows 8 at all, it runs at 30 fps or something awful).

I can pass the pixperan speed reading test at tempo 30 at 100hz refresh rate but not at 120hz...the scrolling speed seems to be tied to the refresh rate.
After installing Windows 10, the Strobelight utility doesn't seem to want to work. I suppose functionality for Win10 isn't there quite yet... either that, or it has to do with Catalyst Control Center. I upgraded to 15.7.1 right after updating windows.

I'm not seeing any issues with Windows 10 and Catalyst 15.7.1. You didn't describe what isn't working. Did you reinstall the refresh rates and restart?
