You might be able to get a little more by reducing the timing parameters. You'll have to play around to see what the monitor can handle. The timing parameters work the same way in CRU and the NVIDIA control panel, but it's easier to test in the NVIDIA control panel. When you find something that works, you can copy the timing parameters to CRU to make games use the higher refresh rate. CRU also has an "LCD reduced" preset that may or may not help.
Just to let everyone know that the Korean monitor problem should be fixed in the NVIDIA driver 326.41 but only when the WHQL version is released. Right now the 326.41 is still in beta

Hey all having an issue...Overclocked my asus pb278q 2560x1440 to 80hz using the patcher and driver 320.49 I then reboot as it said it found everything and patched.
I then loaded up CRU input 80hz rebooted showed 80hz in NVidia cpl....however in games like bf3 its not smooth..feels choppy yet fraps says im running 80 fps with vsync on in NVidia cpl I tried with on/off no diffence still jerky feeling.
Did I miss something or do something wrong or this monitor just cannot handle overclock?
I have a nice dual link capable of 3800x25xx also a gtx680 and a 4770k

That monitor probably skips frames at higher refresh rates. It should be obvious just by moving the mouse cursor. I don't think it can handle anything above 60 Hz. Use this to check:

well weird I ran that test you gave me and its says valid? says no frame skipping
"Valid" just means the test is working properly. You need to use a camera to take a picture. If you can see any gaps, then the monitor is skipping frames.

Ive got the Qnix QX27010LED and for some reason I cant run SLI mode anything past 95hz @ 1440p. When I disable SLI I can 120hz no problem at all but when I enable it the Nvidia control panel will successfully test it for 120hz and pass no problem but as soon as I apply the screen blacks out and I have to cold restart the pc. Im using 1x Palit Jetstream GTX670 (Main card - monitor plugged in using 28g DVI Dual) & my SLI card Gigabyte GTX670 OC - both are 2GB version.
Any ideas?
Did you use the full patch? It's needed for SLI to function properly past 400 MHz pixel clock.
