I have GTX 660 TI and monitor Samsung 1920x1080 .

At Counter Strike Global Offensive , can i put 120 or 144 frequency ? If yes , how ?

If your monitor supports 120 Hz or 144 Hz, it should already work.

That's because the monitors are disconnecting when you turn them off. That's common with DisplayPort monitors. I don't have a solution for this other than to use monitor sleep instead of turning the monitors off.

That's a different issue that you should bug EVGA and NVIDIA about because that's not supposed to happen. If this is a detection issue, you should be able to turn one of the monitors off and back on to redetect the monitors without rebooting.

No, but running restart.exe might help with redetecting the monitors.

Thanks for getting back to me, I was away for the Easter weekend.

I did try the restart.exe but the monitors just sit on black screens, it seems as if windows just refuses to redetect the monitors, the same issue happens if the monitors sleep.

I will start to bug EVGA, NVIDIA and DELL about it, I will make a little video for them and post it here just so you can see it if you want

You need to be more specific. What do you mean you can't get any other resolutions? Are they not being listed in the Windows screen resolution settings? What resolutions are you trying to add? What timing parameters did you try? Are you paying attention to the pixel clock limits? If you're using HDMI, did you try importing one of the HDMI support files?

You said you were using an LG 60lb6100-ug, but now you say you're using a UN55H7150AFXZA. If the TV is showing a "format not recognized" message, then the TV doesn't support the resolution.

Hi Toasty, I don't know if i'm doing things right, not very techy but. I basicly ran the patch, ran CRU. Deleted the detailed and standard listed resolutions. Added my own (1920x1080 @ 120hz) on both the detailed and standard list. Pressed ok. Restarted GPU with restart64, gave it a test on the UFO Test. but it seems like it didn't work. Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing some steps or something?

First HW setup:
GF GTX560 and analog TV (Sony Trinitron 29") connected to DVI-I via self-made H, V to H/V sync device to RGB input.
Seems TV supports only interlaced video.
Need to mention that there is no DDC connected as TV does not have it.
After fiddling a long time, tried using Linux and with a success. A lot of resolutions working, including example:
Modeline "720x576pali" 13.88 720 742 808 888 576 580 583 625 -hsync -vsync interlace (timings seems to be not important in this phase)
Under Windows added resolution through CRU:

(currently "Custom extension block" is empty, but tried adding resolutions under that).
After restarting driver, have a default 640x480p @60Hz in NVIDIA control panel, which on TV looks like:
Added 720x576i to NVIDIA custom resolution:

And after pressing 'test' there is a acceptable picture on TV:

After agreeing to save this resolution, back to NVIDIA customize window:

But under resolutions I don't have 720x576:

(other variant - resolution exists in a list, but switches back to 640x480 immediately after pressing apply).
Seems that driver does not like interlaced resolutions...

I'd like to post my results and ask for further advice on my TV.
So, I do have an GTX 980, 8mm thick quality HDMI High Speed Cable, and TCL U40S7606DS (4k, HDMI2.0).

I'd like to achieve 1080p120 (btw. 2160p60 are no problem) - I had "some" success using nVidia custom resolution, but I do have skipped frames (actually the half like it's 60Hz). I am not sure which side tricked me (nVidia as some "feature" to let me believe it sends 120Hz, while it has been just 60 - or the TV that said it run's at 120/121Hz but just displayed the half, anyway), yet I'd like to find out if the TV is capable of it.

So what did I test till now you may ask: Using nVidia custom resolution - I did try all the available timings yet the ONLY working configuration was when I tried to set a custom res. out of 1080p60, just set 120 instead of 60Hz and test that. What makes me wonder if really 120Hz are being sent is that it actually uses timing out of 60Hz (when I check while "edit" the saved custom res.). Yet refresh-rates and pixel clock are at double of 60Hz. You can see my working settings for the nVidia custom resolution at the attached jpg file - while you can also see that I tried to set the same values via CRU - and that doesn't work ("No Signal").

In the attached zip-File you can see that the "nVidia (fake?) 120Hz" are actually more like "60Hz" (as just every 2nd frame is displayed). And one weird thing: the TV displays it would be running at 121 Hz. For sure I did also try all the other automatic timings CRU provides - with out success ("No Signal").

All this seems like it can't run at 120Hz, yet I am not about to give up. What I'd like to know: are there other timings I should test (common timings that are known to work) or is there any "overclock-procedure" about which value I should increase in a step by step - overclock test?

EDIT: Btw. i forgot to say that 720p@120Hz is working (whatever way i try - using nVidia or CRU). I just did some test as I thought "why not testing other frequencies?" Well (just testing "Standard resolution"), 85Hz did result in "No Signal" but 75Hz was accepted but - see yourself in the attached 75Hz Image - skipped frames. -.- Yet I don't know if it's nVidia or the TV but it's likely the last one (or could nVidia send 60 frames but trick the TV to think it would be 75?)

What makes it seem like it didn't work? Is 120 Hz listed in the Windows screen resolution settings? That would mean it worked. If it's not listed, what GPU are you using?

Don't add the same resolution as both detailed and standard. Detailed is preferred because standard won't use the right timing parameters.
