I have a Samsung CHG70 monitor which is hdr600 certified, connected via displayport. When enabling HDR in windows or in games, the colors looks really washed out.
I've already tried setting the dynamic range to full in nvidia control panel, but that didn't work.
It looks like exactly like in this video, but as shown in the video, hdr looks good on ps4 and it looks terrible on pc.

These are the default colorimetry and hdr settings in cru.
Windows is running the latest version (2004). Can anybody help me fix this issue if its possible?
I don't know if that's fixable with CRU unless you want to remove HDR completely.
I'm trying to reduce the G-Sync (compatible) range on my Samsung Odyssey G7 32" but can't get it to work (2560x1440 @240Hz display)

I watched a bunch of videos, read some tutorials but no matter what, I can't get it to do any changes.

CRU shows my active resolution as 2560x1440p @144Hz, but the display is running at 240Hz according to the Nvidia CP (and Windows AND my OSD): https://i.gyazo.com/71177be36009054498cc...6ffb0d.png

Creating custom resolutions with 240Hz and anything near the pixel density of 1440p doesn't work either (manual and with presets) https://i.gyazo.com/10b62a2b2fab314c2b23...71684f.png

Reducing the refresh to 144Hz didn't give me any results either.

Any ideas?

edit: just in case: yeah, I used restart.exe do save the changes, ran CRU as admin, driver version 451.85, displayport

240 Hz is in the second extension block which CRU can't read because for some reason NVIDIA's driver won't provide more than one extension block. To add resolutions beyond 655.35 MHz pixel clock, you need to use a DisplayID extension block. You might need to delete the default extension block and add a DisplayID extension block manually to make changes work with NVIDIA.

Thanks, I got it to work!
hello.new member here seeking assistance for thsi great tool that CRU is.

I am running 3 monitors + 1TV set up from my VEGA64 GPU.I am on latest beta RADEON drivers.

My 3 monitors are Freesync and CRU works fine to extend range from standard 48/75Hz to 42/75Hz which is OK for me.

Problem is every time I reboot my PC, I have to launch CRU disable Eyefinity set up then set again the range for each monitor and finally recreate Eyefinity setup for the triple screen setup to work at 42/75Hz.

Is there a way to lock this that I dont have to run through this everytime?

The reason I am asking is because AMD broke Eyefinity setup possibilities last year introducing Adrenalin drivers for people with setup like mine.

What I mean is that when you have the 3 monitors and TV plug in, you can not pickup the 3 monitors only to create Eyefinity, it will consider 4 screens are connected and it screwed up the display I want to achieve. When I play simracing games, I usually run on Triple via PC screen Option only in Windows and FPS or platform games through TV only via 2nd screen only output in Windows.

The only solution is to go at the back of the PC, unplug the TV HDMI cable, create Eyefinity for triple only then plug back the TV HDMI cable. A pain when you have to do that on top of CRU extended Freesync activation as you can imagine

sorry it might be a niche usage but any help really appreciated.

thanks so much

You shouldn't have to do it every time. I don't understand why it would reset. That's not normal.
yep.kind of puzzled at why?I just follow the few steps in your OP but then after reboot back to 48/75Hz freesync range

thats what I set up in CRU and how it shows in RADEON drivers after rebootUndecided

Doing some research looks like the bug is maybe with eyefinity.lo

this person had the same issue than me after reboot.
But recreating eyefinity everytime is not an option for me due to the additional problem with the 4th monitor

Are you using HDMI? With HDMI, you're supposed to edit the FreeSync range in the extension block. It's not supposed to show "Default extension block" either. Disable Eyefinity, and then run reset-all.exe and reboot. Make sure the extension block is readable before editing.
Yes 3monitors are hdmi but my VEGA GPU has DP ports so i use active convertor on each minitor

I can set each monitor fresync in the extension block while eyefinity is not yet created

After i set eyefinity then i open CRU to edit the freesync range but nothing is available in extension block except this defaut thing but no entry for freesync frequency

After i set eyefinity then i open CRU to edit the freesync range but nothing is available in extension block except this defaut thing but no entry for freesync frequency
So it's creating separate monitor entries when Eyefinity is enabled? Then copy and paste the non-Eyefinity entries to the Eyefinity-enabled ones.
