Like you have mentioned before, ive have enabled the extension block and added the audio.dat but it only gives me 2 channel stereo....a perfect waste of 5.1 awesomeness. Is there any way around this?
Try this: https://www.monitortests.com/hdmi-bitstream.dat

You sir, are awesome. That did the trick, everything works perfectly! Now where is that donate button...Smile

Hello ToastyX,

Thank you for your clarifying answer. That is very unfortunate to hear but then I'll have to live with it. But I knew that the switch from NVIDIA to AMD has a hacking;-) but again I want to change first then not.

I then manage myself just so that I previously put the refresh rate down to 96Hz in Windows for games in which I want to use the 1920x1080.

But what I find funny is that all other resolutions are clear 1440p, 1050P, 800p and more with more than 96Hz. Really only the resolution of 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 have trouble full screen with 110Hz and 120Hz

I also have the assistance service of AMD described my problem and am curious what I'll get there for an answer.

best regards

Hey ToastyX,

I have jus got a LG 49 inch UHD Tv and ive hooked it up to my pc where i found out it was running at 30 hertz refresh rate. I downloaded Cru in order to boost the refresh rate to 75 however when i start it up an error message pops up showing the following "access violation in module" please advice

Either an antivirus program is getting in the way, or there might be a bug in CRU. Avast's DeepScreen option has caused problems like this in the past.
Hi all,

Can CRU push low resolutions to non PNP monitors like CRT Arcade monitors? Resolutions like 320 x 240 @ 60Hz. Running a NVIDIA 680 GTX card on Windows 7 x64, and tools like Soft15Khz seem to struggle with newer hardware like this.

Thanks
I've been drifting a lot since I got this TV trying to get 120hz out of my 670 using HDMI (only input available)

I don't even want 4K at 60Hz I just need 1080p at 120hz cuz right now I have 1080p at 60hz and it's working fine, I'm using this cable:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003XM5DT0/?tag=mtests-20#ad

So now my system is EVGA 670 driver 340.43
and hdmi to Bravia 65X900A 1080p at 60hz

Tried NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher and unlocked the limit so I tried Custom Resolution Utility but there is no way to get those custom res to appear.
I Also tried the custom res tool offered by Nvidia but always get the unsupported signal on my TV.

Did you follow the workaround for NVIDIA? Does the TV support 120 Hz input? Most don't.

I don't think the driver will accept such a low resolution.

How can I be sure if this TV supports the input?
Even if not supported the custom resolution should appear for me to select right?
I am trying to create a 1440x1080 resolution at 144hz but it says its out of range on my monitor, I have a AMD graphics card too please help.
